CO2 Laser Setup Instructions and Tutorials

Setup your laser:

220V Version 1 (Mach3 blue and red lasers) click here for setup instructions.

110V Version 2 and 3 (NewlyDraw white lasers) click here for setup instructions.

Align Your Laser Path:

If you find uneven marking with your laser, you will probably need to align it (not usually needed). Do not attempt to align the laser path before checking it is out of alignment as attempting to adjust will bring it out of alignment.

Download the Mach3 configuration files here:

Right click on links and save these files to your Mach3 directory: C:\Mach3\

Laser Power is set with S1000 for 100% laser power. S100 for 10% laser power. Laser is turned on with M3 and turned off with M5. Mach3 introduces a short 1/10th second delay between turning the laser on and moving around. Open the fullspeclogoPWM.tap file at the bottom of this page to see how it works.

PWM power control: laser.xml

Notes: change the Mach3 icon properties to "C:\Mach3\Mach3.exe /p laser" instead of "C:\Mach3\Mach3.exe /p laserpwm" as it says in the video below. LaserFast uses the special E1P1 code in Mach3 and was a bit buggy so we have removed this option. Please contact Mach3 support if you wish to set your laser to "fast" mode.
